The Embers to headline beach music festival September 12

The third Northern Neck Beach Music Festival will be held September 12 on Town Hill in Colonial Beach. The fun will begin at noon with music, shag dance lessons and a dance contest.

“We always have a ton of fun and a great turnout,” said co-chairman Joyce Gunderson.  “Colonial Beach is a natural venue for beach music!”

The style incorporates rhythm and blues, pop, soul, a little rock and roll and maybe some disco.

DJ Craig Jennings, host of WWER’s Beach Breeze and Grooves radio show, will get the afternoon started. Feature Attraction Band will take the stage followed by The Embers.

Vendors will offer food and beverages….
