Rice’s Hotel/Hughlett’s Tavern, 73 Monument Place, Heathsville, recently announced its winter schedule of Heritage Arts classes.
On Friday, January 14, participants can learn how to use acrylics to paint lovely winter trees and skies, as part of a special “Coffee-time Sip & Paint” class, reported executive director Corinne Becker. The fee is $35, plus a material fee of $5 to $10 payable directly to the instructor. The class will be held from 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
On January 21, participants will learn to create a decorative mixed media heart on canvas, continued Becker. The class will be held from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. The fee is $35, plus an additional $10 material fee, payable to the instructor.
