Colonial Beach defeats Lancaster girls, 43-33

Colonial Beach High School stifled Lancaster’s offense to take a 20-point lead at halftime and hold on for a 43-33 win in Northern Neck District varsity girls basketball last Thursday.

The host Drifters held Lancaster to six points in the first half, including three in each of the first and second quarters for a 26-6 lead at the break. Lancaster made a late-game charge with a 21-12 fourth-quarter run sparked….
