The Northern Neck Orchestra will present a concert at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, March 5, at the Lancaster Middle School Theater, 191 School Street, Kilmarnock.
The concert will showcase the talents of prize-winning 20-year-old cellist Camden Archambeau who will perform Haydn’s Cello Concerto No. 1.
The concert also features the Virginia premiere of Florence Price’s “Ethiopia’s Shadow in America” and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s Symphony No. 41, Jupiter.
A pre-concert talk by music director Michael Repper will begin at 6:45 p.m. Tickets are $36 and may be purchased only online at www.northernneckorchestra.org. Students are admitted free. School regulations require that concertgoers wear masks and maintain social distancing.
