The Northern Neck Baptist Association Advocacy/Tutorial Empowerment Program grant has ended.
However, the four churches, Morning Star, Abiding Faith, Beulah and First Baptist will continue to provide tutoring at 4 p.m. on Wednesdays, reported Dr. Barbara Cain, pastor of Abiding Faith.
To schedule tutoring at the:
• First Baptist site, contact Dr. Bessie Wiggins, 690-0154.
• Morning Star site, contact Pastor Beverly Thomas, 761-0493 and Dr. Cain, 435-8742.
• Beulah site, contact pastor Ulysses Turner, 436-4005.
The sites will continue to remediate students to help to eliminate the gaps in reading and mathematics, said Dr. Cain.
