Under the strong leadership of captain Pierce Lambert, the Christchurch School golf team posts a 3-3 mark with more than 12 matches remaining for the season.
Three members of the team had never played in a competitive golf match until this spring, reported communications associate Jennifer Homer. The team is coached by Tim Roscher, and its home club is Piankatank River Golf Club in Hartfield.
Pierce is the son of Robin and Buzz Lambert of Hartfield. He is an honor roll student and also plays soccer and basketball. He is a student ambassador and member of the singing group, Cantorion.
