Town of Kilmarnock thanks community partners assisting with fire relief efforts

KILMARNOCK—The Town of Kilmarnock partnered with River Counties Community Foundation (RCCF) and the Lancaster County Department of Social Services to respond to the urgent and immediate needs of the six families displaced by the April 19 fire on Irvington Road, as well as the funeral expenses for Stacey Kellum.

Thus far, $64,172 has been raised. Mayor Mae Umphlett thanked each of the 100+ donors who have so graciously donated to the Kilmarnock Fire Relief Fund and to acknowledge RCCF, The Jessie Ball duPont Fund, and the Mathews Community Foundation for their very generous donations, and to Horn’s Northern Neck Ace Hardware for their #kilmarnockstrong t-shirt program.
