HAYNESVILLE—Construction is starting on a project to enhance safety and improve operations at the Richmond Road intersection with Rich Neck Road and Mulberry Road in Richmond County.
The $1.3 million project will extend the following turn lanes from a short taper area to a full 200-foot-long turn lane:
• Right turn lane from westbound Richmond Road to Rich Neck Road.
• Left turn lane from westbound Richmond Road to Mulberry Road.
• Left turn lane from eastbound Richmond to Rich Neck Road.
