The Lancaster High School Class of 1965 held a 57-year reunion on Saturday, September 17, at the Morattico Waterfront Museum Pavilion in Morattico.
The classmates enjoyed a beautiful day with friends, good food, and plenty of laughter, according to Joyce Pittman Broadus.
Those in attendance were Catherine Burke Moore, Lorraine Parks Dixon, Patsy Lankford Hall, Lois Baines Holley, Sherry Smith Thomas, Pam Gill Deihl, Carlie Dixon, Howard Kyzer, Ann Somers O’Bryant, Laura Marsh Sampson, Frances Davenport Bush, Ronnie Cox, Andy Turlington Blake, Connie Jacobsen and Broadus.
Those gathered remembered 18 classmates who are deceased, out of a class of 69, said Broadus. They are Jack Thompson, Rebecca Campbell, Billy Bray, Edward Fisher, Larry Thomas, Frederick Withers, David Towles, Dan Towles, Mary Lou Rose Bellows, Nellie King Casto, Shirley Jett Wilkins, Kathryn Barton, Royston Lewis, Frank Shelton, Nicky Treakle, Doris Kimble, Wilbur Ashburn and Pam Moore.
