William J. Coyle installed as head of Christchurch School

On Saturday, October 8, William J. “Billy” Coyle was installed as the 17th head of Christchurch School at St. Peter’s Chapel on the school’s campus. The Episcopal service also included rededication of the newly restored/renovated St. Peter’s.

Distinguished guests included Christchurch governors and trustees, including board chairman Lynne Tatum Little of Charlotte, N.C.; president of Church Schools in the Diocese of Virginia Dr. Henry Broaddus; vice president and treasurer of Church Schools in the Diocese of Virginia Chip Broadway; other private school heads; and friends and family of the school and Coyle.

The installation service included the anthem “Down to the River to Pray” and the school hymn “By this River” performed by the Cantorion….
