MOLLUSK—A fire at a waterfront home on Greenvale Creek October 11 has been ruled suspicious and remains under investigation, according to Special Agent Will Davis with the Virginia State Police (VSP).
The case is being worked jointly by the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) and the VSP arson investigation team.
The two-story home on Flats Lane in Mollusk was completely destroyed in the afternoon blaze and investigators are searching for the home’s owner, Arthur L. Zdyb.
No one was in the house at the time of the fire, said Davis, but one of several dogs….
