The Northern Neck Chapter of the Military Officers Association of America (NNMOAA) will present its annual Memorial Day Commemoration on Monday, May 29, at Historic Christ Church, 420 Christ Church Road, Weems.
The ceremony will begin at 11 a.m. with classical and patriotic music by organist Ilona Duncan and will continue with a formal observance at 11:30 a.m. led by master of ceremonies retired U.S. Army Maj. Edgar Doleman and the officiant, The Rev. Scott Parnell, rector of Ware Episcopal Church, reported program chairman retired Col. William Johnson. The keynote speaker will be The Rev. John A. Weatherly, who was Joint Forces Command chaplain to the Virginia National Guard.
