The Tavern Spinners & Weavers Guild at Rice’s Hotel/Hughlett’s Tavern, 73 Monument Place, Heathsville, will teach their popular beginning weaving class from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. August 25-27.
This three-day workshop offers an introduction to the process of handweaving on a floor loom, reported executive director Corinne Becker. All materials and equipment are provided. No previous weaving experience is required. The fee is $175.
