TAPPAHANNOCK—Teresa McCarty Austria, 60, formerly of Lancaster, recently of Tappahannock, passed away July 21, 2023.
She is survived by her mother, Etta Jo McCarty; two daughters, Rose Austria and Rachel Austria; grandchildren, Zara Godwin and Aliana Godwin; and brother, Robbie McCarty.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert L. McCarty Sr.
Funeral services will be held at noon on Saturday, July 29, at Corrottoman Baptist Church, Ottoman. Interment will follow in Corrottoman Baptist Cemetery.
Family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Friday, July 28, 2023 at Currie Funeral Home, Kilmarnock.
