KILMARNOCK—Shannon Elizabeth Proctor, 51, of Kilmarnock went to be with her Lord on October 8, 2023. She was born on September 21, 1972, in Alexandria and raised in Lake Ridge.
Shannon graduated from Woodbridge Senior High School and earned a bachelor’s in criminal justice from Radford University. She was a member of Sigma Sigma Sigma Sorority.
She is survived by her father, Steve Proctor; three children, Bradley Lipsteuer, Ella Lipsteuer and Jack Lipsteuer; sister, Shaune Colliver; uncle, Bill Hatfield (Crisann); and cousin, Victoria Hatfield.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Jeannie Proctor.
Shannon was a beloved daughter, sister and mother. Shannon spent her later years caring for her father on their family farm enjoying activities on the bay with her children and loved ones.
Funeral services will be held at noon, Saturday, October 14, at Currie Funeral Home, Kilmarnock. Interment will follow the service at Historic Christ Church Burying Grounds, Weems. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
