The Northern Neck Anglers Club will present its annual Chesapeake Bay Fishing Seminar from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, April 20, at the Lancaster Community Library, 16 Town Centre Drive, Kilmarnock.
Admission is $8, or free for those younger than 15. The fee includes all registration materials, coffee, donuts and bottled water. There will be a lunch break from noon-1 p.m.
The speaker lineup will include charter captains, Coast Guard safety experts, Virginia Marine Resources Commission and Virginia Department of Natural Resources representatives, light tackle fishing experts and local anglers specializing in the middle and lower Chesapeake Bay and tributaries, said president Ben Ames.
Learn tips, tricks and techniques, including how to throw a casting net, he said.
“Join us for a jam packed informative day discussing local area saltwater fishing,” said Ames.
There also will be raffles, door prizes and a 50/50 raffle, he said.
