While Lancaster schools have much to be proud of when it comes to sports in the 2023-24 season, athletic director Chuck Parrish highlighted the academic and sportsmanship achievements of the student athletes in a presentation to the school board on Monday, June 10.
“Our spring team’s GPAs—in boys track 3.23; girls track was a 3.75; soccer was a 3.59; baseball was a 3.70; softball was a 3.76; and boys tennis was a 3.62,” said Parrish.
The overall team GPA average for all 17 sports for the year was 3.55. “That is a success. That is a win,” said Parrish.
Lancaster had 109 members of the All-Academic Team for the Northern Neck District….
