HEATHSVILLE—The Northumberland County Circuit Court convened Tuesday, July 2, with the Hon. John S. Martin presiding.
In the case of Carlos A. Liverpool of Burgess, charged with two counts of probation violation on a felony offense, a status hearing was set for July 23.
In the case of Robert P. McKenney of Hague, charged with writing two or more bad checks in a 90 day period of over $500, a trial was set for September 3.
In the case of Tammy L. Morgan of Heathsville, charged with child abuse by disregard of life, the case was continued to July 23.
In the case of Richard J. Parker Jr. of Callao, charged with manufacturing/distributing imitation Schedule I/II substances and possession of a gun as a nonviolent felon were concluded by nolle prosequi.
In the case of Benjamin A. Schlosser of Heathsville, charged with child abuse by disregard for life, the case was continued to July 23.
In the case of Mark A. Thompson of Callao, charged with five counts of distributing/selling Schedule I/II drugs, a trial was set for August 27.
In the case of Ernest E. Adams of Reedville, charged with two counts of distributing/selling Schedule I/II drugs, a status hearing was set for August 20.
