MILA—Norma Hudnall Tapscott, 90, of Fredericksburg and Mila passed away peacefully on September 7, 2024. She would have turned 91 on September 10.
Norma is survived by her daughter, Kimberly King (Anthony); and her sister, Margaret Miller (Stephen). She was preceded in death by her husband, James Tapscott; parents, Herbert and Roberta Hudnall; and brothers, Calvin Hudnall (Estelle) and Beverly Hudnall (Virginia Lee).
Mila Methodist Church was an easy walk from her home. For many years she served as treasurer for United Methodist Women, was communion steward, sang in the choir and helped keep the building and grounds tidy. Norma always showed concern for others. She will be missed by her family and friends.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, September 16, at Mila Methodist Church in Mila. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Currie Funeral Home LLC of Kilmarnock handled the arrangements.
