The Interfaith Serve Council has recently issued a plea for assistance.
During the summer months, Interfaith Service Council was hard at work helping provide household items, appliances and furniture to those in Lancaster and Northumberland counties who are in need, reported board member Susan McKeown. This fall, the council’s resources are at an all time low.
The council is in need of:
• Kitchen items, particularly small appliances such as heaters, fans, microwave ovens, mixers and toasters.
• Large appliances such as refrigerators, washers/dryers and stoves. All appliances need to be electric, in working order and wiped clean.
