The Kilmarnock Garden Club will meet at 1 p.m. Tuesday, October 15, at Kilmarnock Baptist Church, 65 East Church Street, Kilmarnock. The guest speaker will be Meredyth Archer, owner of MOTHER Shrub. She will talk about Mother Shrub drinking vinegars, reported Rosemary Francis.
Archer was introduced to drinking vinegars as a child growing up in West Virginia, when she would drink a sweetened vinegar folk remedy with her grandmother, who thought it was the answer to everything, said Francis. Years later, she came across a recipe….
