
Interfaith Services never sleeps. The program is at work 24/7 spreading God’s love through service, reported David Lacy, Ramp & Repair Division lead.
Thus far this year, The Ramp & Repair Division has built eight sets of exterior steps with landings, built 14 wheelchair ramps, installed six new roofs, completed two plumbing repairs and replaced two rotten floors all at no cost to the homeowners. On average the Ramp & Repair Division now completes a job every nine days.
The home furnishing warehouse has dispersed, free of charge, countless home furnishings to local residents in need, said Lacy.
This was certainly evident recently as 118 Interfaith volunteers from New Kent Christian Center and Southside Church of Chesterfield descended onto the Camp Kekoka grounds for a weekend of fun and hard work. They arrived….There's more to this story...
