Progress continues towards building Callao community park

CALLAO—Generous donations from the community are making headway in the creation of the Hometown Community Park in Callao, according to Callao Hometown Community Association president Lisa Deitz.

At the association’s annual meeting on Wednesday, October 30, Deitz announced they were able to begin the process of surveying and developing the site and engineering plans necessary to put the work out to bid.
