Sharon Baptist celebrates Men’s / Veteran’s Day

The congregation of Sharon Baptist Church, Weems, honored its men and veterans on Sunday, November 17.

They were draped with medals and presented certificates recognizing them as “American Heroes” for their dedicated service to the country, reported Lloyd Hill.

The program was skillfully guided by worship leader and deacon Irving Brittingham, with prayer by Robert Waddy, announcements by Monte Jackson and litany by Bryant Lee.

The theme for the program was “Men Anchored in The Lord.” Pastor Dale Bunns performed “My Soul is Anchored in the Lord.”
