Del. Margaret Ransone will speak at Northumberland/Lancaster County Farm Bureau annual meeting on Tuesday, July 11, at Upper Lancaster Volunteer Fire Department, 5170 Mary Ball Road, Lively.
The primary purpose of the meeting is to elect county Farm Bureau officers for the coming year and to adopt policy recommendations, some of which will be forwarded to the Virginia Farm Bureau Federation for consideration at its statewide annual convention, reported member service specialist Victoria Fisher.
Producer members will make policy recommendations. Local issues adopted become official policy for the Northumberland Lancaster Farm Bureau.
