WHITE STONE—The White Stone Town Council briefly met Thursday, January 2. The first meeting of 2025 opened with a ceremony to swear in four of seven council members.
Lancaster County Circuit Court Clerk Diane Mumford swore AnnGardner Eubank, Kathryn “Scotty” Roop, Charles Brocklebank and Tad E. Pittman into four-year terms ending December 31, 2028. All four were elected in November. Brocklebank and Pittman had previously earned a seat on council during a special election to finish the terms of vacated seats.
The only new business action item on the agenda again related to phase two of the ongoing sewage project.
