Chris Dollar at Tackle Cove Outfitters, 839 Rappahannock Drive, White Stone, is making it easy and affordable to access everything area waterways have to offer.
A Chesapeake Bay native from Maryland, Dollar has accumulated 30 years of experience as an outdoors professional. From kayaking and fishing to hunting, he has developed an appreciation for all the bay.
Dollar moved to the area with his wife Emmy and their two children full time in 2023. He opened Tackle Cove Outfitters soon after Thanksgiving 2024.
Upon moving to the area, he knew he wanted to open the store but was having trouble finding a location, said Dollar. With the help of the Edwards family of Lambert’s Building Materials, he was able to make it all happen.
