Northumberland Public Library (NPL), 7204 Northumberland Highway, Heathsville, recently announced its February events.
The Friends of NPL will host a Books Alive! event from 5-7 p.m. February 7, featuring author William Matthew Ruberry, reported library director Jane Blue. Light appetizers and drinks will be provided.
Copies of Ruberry’s book, Harmony in Black and White, will be available for purchase. The book sells for $12.08 at williammatthewruberry.com.
Ongoing activities will include:
• Computer classes, 3-5 p.m. Mondays, February 10 and 24. Classes cover all skills from beginner to expert. Bring a laptop, iPad or phone, or use a library laptop. No sign-up is required and all ages are welcome.
• Storytime for all ages, 10 a.m. Tuesdays, February 11, 18 and 25. Enjoy stories, crafts and songs….
