Basketball season ticking away for Lady Devils

Lancaster sits in the middle of the Region A pack this week after splitting games against Westmoreland and Rappahannock in varsity girls basketball last week.

With a week remaining in the regular season, the Lady Devils, 6-6 overall, 1-4 district, are in sixth place in the region.

Lancaster picked up its first Northern Neck District win, 25-19, over Rappahannock last Friday.

Westmoreland, which is 13-1 overall as the top seed in the region, were finally able to shake the Lady Devils midway through the fourth….
