Student drama
St. Margaret’s School, 444 South Water Lane, Tappahannock, will present “The Real Story of Alice in Wonderland” by Kristen Doherty on February 20-23.
Performances are scheduled at 10 a.m. today, February 20, 2 p.m. Saturday, February 22, and 7 p.m. Sunday, February 23, in the Ball Gymnasium on the St. Margaret’s School campus. Admission is free and the community is invited.
Slapnation
The Boys & Girls Club of the Northern Neck (BGCNN) will host Slapnation at 6 p.m. Saturday, February 22, at the BGCNN Event Center, 517 North Main Street, Kilmarnock.

The NNK250 Speaker Series will continue at 2 p.m. Sunday, February 23, at Historic Christ Church & Museum, 420 Christchurch Road, Weems. Dr. Jennifer Van Horn will present “Material Culture and the Making of America.”
Rotary dates
The Northern Neck Rotary Club meets at 7:30 a.m. on second and fourth Wednesdays at River Counties Community Foundation, 834 Rappahannock Drive, White Stone. Those interested in the speaker topics or Rotary are welcome.
The February 26 speaker will be Samantha Edwards, director of Northern Neck CASA.
Winter lecture
The Reedville Fishermen’s Museum 2025 Winter Lecture Series will continue at 6:30 p.m. March 3 at the Fairfields Volunteer Fire Department, 119 Main Street, Reedville.
The presentation an oral history video, “The Sinking of the Glenna Fay,” as told by the late Capt. Ray Rogers. His son, Peale Rogers and Stan O’Bier will discuss the risks and rewards of pound netting.
Speaker series
The Second Saturday Speaker Series will continue at 2 p.m. March 8 at the Steamboat Era Museum, 156 King Carter Drive, Irvington. Keith Kehlbeck will present “Steamboats During the Civil War.”

Gardening seminar
The Northern Neck Master Gardeners’ (NNMG) Spring 2025 Gardening in the Northern Neck Seminar will be held from 8:15 a.m.-3 p.m. March 29 at the White Stone Church of the Nazarene Family Life Center, 57 Whisk Drive, White Stone.

The Rappahannock Concert Association will present singer and actor Ciaran Sheehan at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, March 22, at the Northumberland County School Performing Arts Theater, 201 Academic Lane, Heathsville.
