Like father, like son: Bill England is building nutshells to grow the fleet

Nutshell racing on the Great Wicomico River will resume in May.

Meanwhile, Bill England is at it again. He is building a few new nutshells for the local fleet and hoping to have them completed by the start of the season, reported Ellen Sagan.

His father, Nick England, built the first nutshell pram on the Northern Neck in 1988-89 in his workshop at Glebe Point. He enjoyed the experience so much, he decided to build a fleet. He reached out to men who were interested….
