A Basket Bingo will be held March 21 at the Fairfields Volunteer Fire Department, 119 Main Street, Reedville. The doors will open at 5:45 p.m. and games will begin at 6 p.m.
The fee will be $20, reported June Newton. Hot dogs, chili dogs and snacks also will be on sale.
This event is sponsored by the Virginia Gamma Alpha Chapter of Alpha Delta Kappa, a sorority for outstanding women educators, said Newton.
Proceeds from bingo will support scholarships for women pursuing a degree in education, the Alzheimer’s Association and St. Jude Hospital, she said.
