The Lancaster High School boys and girls tennis teams last week opened their seasons against Class 3 New Kent.
George Christoforatos returns to coach the boys team, while his wife Brenda Christoforatos leads the girls team in her first year as coach for LHS.
New Kent won a close match, 5-4, over LHS on Friday, March 21.
The LHS team was a player down due to illness so was forced to forfeit both line six singles and line three doubles.
