Love of the game, commitment transcends generations in 60 years

WEEMS—The final night of 2025 regular spring season games for Lancaster County Little League (LCLL) marked the 60th anniversary of the first games held at the park on Irvington Road.

On June 4, 1965, the first Little League games were played on the first two fields at the park, which has undergone several major transformations since.

The Gloria L. Goodman Youth Park, home of Dream Fields and Lancaster County Little League, welcomed former players from the last six decades and especially those who were a part of the inaugural season at the park to….
