What could be more fun than crabbing from a dock in the summertime?
To help the younger set get started with this time-honored tradition, the Reedville Fishermen’s Museum will offer “Take a Kid Crabbing” from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. July 19 at the museum, 504 Main Street, Reedville. It’s free!
Tim Abrahams, a museum board member, is the organizer of the new event. He has been crabbing his whole life and has spent hundreds of hours crabbing off a dock with his own kids, reported Tina McCloud.
He will supply everything needed: chicken necks on a string and dip nets….
