Saddlery Foundation Community and Veterans’ Memorial Terrace dedicated

The Saddlery Foundation board members, Northern Neck VFW Post 7167 and special guests gathered June 26 for the Saddlery Foundation Community and Veterans’ Memorial Terrace dedication in Warsaw.

The Saddlery building was saved and relocated from Main Street and Richmond Road to the town park.

The building was constructed around 1850 and moved once before, reported Russell Brown. It was used as a saddlery in the 1800s when people rode horses or had them pulling wagons and carriages. Over the years, the building has served as….
