The ladies of the Rebekah Circle at Bethany United Methodist Church in Reedville recently enjoyed another successful project.
They have been conducting a Christmas Cookies in July event for over 20 years, reported publicity chairman Bonnie Wilson.
Almost every member of the circle bakes at least three dozen homemade cookies and then those who are available on the last Friday of July gather to fill plates with the cookies and deliver them to shut-ins and families who have experienced a recent bereavement, said Wilson.
