
WHITE STONE—On Tuesday, July 29, 2025, God in his infinite wisdom called his son, Isaac Waters Jr., home to gain his heavenly wings.
Isaac was born July 21, 1952, to the late Isaac Waters Sr. and Madelyn Lee-Waters of Lancaster. Isaac was the second child born to this union.
Isaac was educated in the public schools of Lancaster County. In 1984, he uprooted his life and moved to New Jersey. He was employed by Revent as an assembly packer for 17 years.
He enjoyed watching his western shows, cooking, playing golf and going to the lake to fish and sail his Nikko remote boat. At times, Isaac traveled to Virginia to visit his family.
In August 2023, Isaac decided to return to his hometown of White Stone, when his health started to decline.
He was predeceased by his parents, Isaac Waters Sr. and Madelyn Lee-Waters; grandparents, Jerry Sr. and Willie “Momma” Lee, and Maggie and Richard Waters; aunts, Grace Smith, Hortense Parker and Delores Hicks; uncles, Otha “OJ” Lee, Prentice Lee, Wilson “Pie” Lee and Jerry Lee.
He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Antionette (Caleb) Boyd, Antinique and Latrell Veney, and Nina (Lavar) Waters-Wilson; grandchildren, Caleb Jr., Cayla and Caiya Boyd, Kenique Stewart, Shamira, Antiove, Aleisha, Anaiya and Amariah Veney, Joziah LaKell and Jmarria LaNay Arrington, Jeremiah LeRon Veney, Jimikchal Latrell Bea, and Briana, Lanyah, Lavar Jr. and Brailynn Wilson; sisters, Theaster (Calvin) Hebbons, Diane (Bernest) Owens, Donna (Leslie) Owens, Hope Waters and Sharon (George) Monakey; uncle, Spencer Waters; and aunts, Delores Seldon, Mariah Curry, Elaine Davenport and Alma Lyell. Also, a host of devoted nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, cousins and friends; a person who was like a brother, Clarence Reed; and best friends, Robert Waddy, Rudy Kenner and Otis Davis.
A service was held Saturday, August 16, at Mount Vernon Baptist Church in White Stone, officiated by Rev. Gernard Reed, pastor. The eulogy was delivered by Rev. Samuel A. Cain, pastor of Calvary Baptist Church, Kilmarnock. Interment was in the Mount Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery, repast followed in the fellowship hall.
Pallbearers were Lamont Owens, Terrille “Eliza” Owens, Javon Owens, Taye”Kwon Middleton, Quintaye Coleman, KeJuan Owens, Nathaniel Owens-Watkins and Eziriah Davison. Nieces and friends served as floral bearers.
Campbell Funeral Home of Kilmarnock handled the arrangements.
