LANCASTER—The Lancaster County Household Hazardous & Electronic Waste (HHW) fall collection will be held from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. September 20 in the parking lot at the Courthouse, 8265 Mary Ball Road, Lancaster.
The collection is limited to Lancaster County residents and property owners only, reported Northern Neck Soil and Water Conservation District (NNSWCD) marketing/outreach specialist Kelly Brann.
Anyone with questions about the September 20 HHW collection should call the NNSWCD, 313-9102 x105.
Lancaster County residents and property owners are asked to bring old household chemicals such as oil-based paint, cleaners, solvents, old or used petroleum products—including mower and boat gas, pool chemicals, pesticides, electronics and spent florescent and CFL bulbs to the event. Do not bring ammunition, radioactive materials, tires, car batteries, medical waste, or prescription drugs.
