Launching the year with common purpose, Chesapeake Academy’s (CA) annual convocation ceremony installed Catherine Leitch Emery as 13th head of school and announced “joy” as the school wide character focus for the year.
This year’s theme of joy follows previous themes of curiosity, integrity, connection, perseverance, empathy, kindness and trust.
