Lancaster Sheriff’s Report

Lancaster County Sheriff Patrick McCranie this week reported charges against six individuals.

Felonies

Kendrick O’Neil Providence, 28, of Heathsville was charged October 13 with revocation of suspension of sentence and probation on the underlying charge of failure to appear in court on a felony offense.

Wayne Paul Mackey Jr., 42, of Warsaw was charged October 13 with knowingly communicating in writing a threat to kill or do bodily injury which placed such person in reasonable apprehension of death or bodily injury.

Tiffany Karen Baugh, 26, of White Stone was charged October 16 with violating probation on a felony offense on the underlying charge of manufacturing, selling, giving, distributing or possessing with the intent to manufacture, sell, give or distribute a controlled substance.

Misdemeanors

A Kilmarnock man, 33, was charged October 14 with failure to comply with child support obligations.

A Bluffton, S.C. woman, 42, was charged October 15 with failure to be on peace and good behavior on the underlying charge of driving while under the influence, first offense.

A Topping man, 70, was charged October 17 with failure to appear in court on September 30 on the underlying charge of shoplifting.

Activity report

October 13: Staff responded to the 400 block of North Main Street for disorderly conduct, and to the 400 block of King Carter Drive for fraud.

October 14: Staff responded to Cherry Point Drive for debris in the highway, to the 11000 block of Mary Ball Road for a suspicious vehicle, and to the 200 block of Buzzards Neck Road for the report of gunshots in the late evening hours.

October 15: Staff responded to the 2000 block of Irvington Road for a domestic disturbance, to Youcomico Drive for construction fraud, and to Taylors Creek and Lumberlost roads for a disabled vehicle.

October 16: Staff responded to the 300 block of Lara Road for suspicious activity.

October 17: Staff responded to the 8000 block of Mary Ball Road for a two-vehicle traffic crash, to the 600 block of Merry Point Road for a disabled vehicle, to the 9000 block of Courthouse Road for an abandoned vehicle, and to Mary Ball and Kamps Mill roads for a disabled vehicle.

October 18: Staff responded to the 70 block of Laurel Lane for suspicious activity, to the 10 block of Georgetown Lane for destruction of property, and to the Robert O. Norris Jr. Memorial Bridge for debris in the highway.

Staff also conducted 19 traffic stops, issued 17 summonses, assisted two motorists, recorded a deer strike accident, handled four requests for traffic control, investigated five building alarms, logged four inmate transports, received two E911 hang up calls, and fielded five calls for animal control service.

Fire calls

White Stone Volunteer Fire Department responded to utility lines down at Scott and Little Bay roads.

Kilmarnock VFD responded to a traffic crash at Shiloh School and Apple Grove roads and an electrical fire at 80 North Main Street.

Upper Lancaster VFD responded to a traffic crash at 8623 Mary Ball Road.
