Sheriffs’ Reports 11-06-25

Lancaster County Sheriff Patrick McCranie this week reported charges against four individuals.

Felonies

Gary Lee Harrion, 69, of Lancaster was charged October 28 with a false statement on firearm transaction record.

Shakeen Donta Walker, 31, of Weems was charged October 29 with knowingly or intentionally possessing a controlled substance classified in Schedule I/II not obtained directly from or pursuant to a valid prescription or order of a practitioner while acting in the course of a professional practice or not authorized by the Drug Control Act.

Misdemeanors

A Weems man, 64, was charged October 29 with two counts of failure to appear in court on October 27.

An Urbanna woman, 22, was charged October 30 with stalking.

Activity report

October 27: Staff responded to the 9000 block of Mary Ball Road for a verbal dispute, to Third Street for disorderly conduct, and to the 100 block of Morattico Church Road for a break and entering.

October 28: Staff responded to River Road for debris in the highway, to the 600 block of Ocran Road for a traffic hazard, and to the 100 block of Kathy Drive for suspicious activity.

October 29: Staff responded to the 400 block of Benson Road for a civil complaint, and to the 300 block of Earl Drive for harassment.

October 30: Staff responded to the 100 block of Chesapeake Drive for identity theft, to the Robert O. Norris Jr. Memorial Bridge for debris in the road, and to Old Salem and Mary Ball roads for a suspicious vehicle.

October 31: Staff responded to the 6000 block of Mary Ball Road for a two-vehicle traffic crash, and to the 300 block of Paynes Creek Road for suspicious activity.

November 1: Staff responded to the 1000 block of Pinckardsville Road for trespassing, to the 100 block of Waterview Point Lane for an abandoned vehicle, to the 1400 block of Davis Mill Road for a verbal dispute, and to the 1000 block of Queenstown Road for a larceny.

November 2: Staff responded to the 600 block of Paynes Creek Road for legal advice, and to the 1300 block of Mary Ball Road for a domestic disturbance.

Staff also conducted 20 traffic stops, issued 10 summonses, assisted six motorists, recorded a deer strike accident, handled a request for traffic control, investigated three building alarms, logged an inmate transport, received nine E911 hang up calls, and fielded a call for animal control service.

Fire calls

White Stone Volunteer Fire Department responded to an electrical fire at 5880 Windmill Point Road.

Upper Lancaster VFD responded to a traffic crash at 6161 Mary Ball Road.

Kilmarnock VFD responded to a fire alarm at 405 Devils Bottom Road.

Northumberland County Sheriff Johnny Beauchamp this week reported charges against 17 individuals.

Felonies

Brandi N. McGehee, 35, of Walkerton was charged October 20 on a capias to show cause issued by the Northumberland County Circuit Court for two counts of probation violations for felony charges. She was served by the Gloucester County Sheriff’s Office.

Dillion Christopher Roberts, 32, of Lancaster was charged October 26 on a capias to show cause issued by the Northumberland County Circuit Court for a felony probation violation.

John Wayne Weaver, 37, of Callao was charged October 28 on a capias issued by the Westmoreland County Circuit Court for failing to comply with probation and parole on a felony charge, with the original charge being aggravated sexual battery. Weaver also was charged October 28 with five felony counts of non-compliance for not registering as a sex offender.

Elizabeth Page McGuire, 63, of Callao was charged October 31 with threatening a person in writing and a violation of a protective order. These were Prince William warrants that were served by the Northumberland County Sheriff’s Office.

Misdemeanors

A Reedville man, 21, was charged October 6 with criminal trespassing.

A Heathsville man, 35, was charged October 7 with damaging property.

A Heathsville man, 54, was charged October 14 with an unattended hit and run.

A Lottsburg woman, 57, was charged October 14 with being drunk in public.

A Reedville man, 72, was charged October 14 on a warrant for depredation of a dog.

A Burgess woman, 67, was charged October 18 on two capias/attachments of the body issued by the Northumberland County General District Court for failing to appear and testing positive for alcohol.

A Newport News man, 28, was charged October 19 on a capias/attachment of the body issued by the Northumberland County General District Court for failing to appear in their court on an original charge of a dangerous dog. He was served by the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office.

A Kilmarnock man, 21, was charged October 22 with assault and battery of a family member.

A Burgess man, 36, was charged October 27 with criminal trespassing, after being forbidden to go on the property.

A Reedville man, 21, was charged October 29 with criminal trespassing.

A Heathsville woman, 25, was charged October 30 with reckless driving and crossing the yellow double lines.

A Reedville man, 21, was charged October 30 with damaging property.

A Burgess man, 36, was charged October 31 with two counts of violating a protective order.

Reminder, those charged with alleged crimes are presumed innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
