La Cocina Del Mexicano taco trailer opens up the street

For delicious and authentic Mexican street tacos, look for the Cocina Del Mexicano taco trailer in White Stone or Kilmarnock throughout the week.

Ismael Castro hit the road in his new mobile canteen in late October and has been serving up homemade Mexican cuisine since.

Castro, originally from San Jose, Calif., made his way to the Northern Neck in the spring of 2016. While attending the Culinary Institute of America in New York he met Devin Rose of White Stone.

While Castro was working as an executive banquet chef in the Silicone Valley, he received a call from Rose urging him to consider relocating to the Northern Neck to help lead the kitchen at Merroir in….
