The Rappahannock Record will be closed from Friday, December 19, through Thursday, December 25, to allow employees time with their families during Christmas. The Rappahannock Record will not publish a newspaper during Christmas week.
The office at 27 North Main Street, Kilmarnock, will reopen at 9 a.m. Friday, December 26, and early deadlines will be in effect for the final issue of the year to be be mailed on Wednesday, December 31.
The display advertising deadline will be 5 p.m. Friday, December 26. The classified and news deadlines will be noon, Monday, December 29.
The Rappahannock Record office also will be closed from noon Wednesday, December 31, through Thursday, January 1. The office will reopen at 9 a.m. Friday, January 2, and the regular production schedule will resume.
While the office is closed, news items may be submitted to editor@rapprecord.com and advertisements to mail@rapprecord.com. Items also may be dropped through the mail slot in the front door at 27 North Main Street, Kilmarnock.
