On Wednesday, February 4, the Chesapeake Academy first grade class presented a reader’s theater production of the book, The True Story of Humpty Dumpty, by Sarah Hayes and Charlotte Voake, to students, friends and families in a school assembly.
The role of that most fragile egg was performed by Leo Roberts, Will Ridgely, Maddie Meredith, Walker Jones, Zach Patterson, Annie Ritenour, Mae Ramsay Hollingsworth and Oliver Webre, reported head of school Catherine L. Emery.
Included in the stalwart cadre of All the Kings Men were Finn Gough, Meredith and Roberts. The King was played by Gough, Meredith and Ridgely. Noble equines included Patterson, Webre, Ritenour, Meredith, Hollingsworth and Gough.
