Terry R. Beale

NAPLES, FL—Terry Revere Beale, 88, formerly of Fleeton, passed away on March 18, 2026, in Naples, Fla., after a long life shaped by work, family and friendships.

Born November 3, 1937, in Portsmouth, to James Edward and Evelyn Beale, Terry graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School, where he met Rose Mary Williamson, his wife of 57 years until her passing in 2014. After attending Richmond Polytechnic Institute (now Virginia Commonwealth University), he began a career in sales with Westinghouse Corporation and later became vice president of the Builder Division at Goldberg Company, a distributor of Whirlpool appliances, in Richmond.

Terry and Rose Mary lived in Richmond and spent much time at their Chesapeake Bay home in Fleeton. An avid sailor, he enjoyed time on the water, as well as tennis, pickleball and later billiards and poker with friends in Naples.

He is survived by his children, Chris Beale (Rhonda) of Kilmarnock and Theresa Beale (Mark Abramson) of Kirkland, Wa.; his grandchildren, Jessica (Tyler) Gilman of Glen Allen, Kristin (Christopher) Gupta of Maidens, Jonathan Abramson of Seattle, Wa., and Erik Abramson of Bellingham, Wa., as well as three great-grandchildren and his devoted dog Marty.

A private family celebration of life will be held.
