James C. Wrenn Jr.

LANCASTER—James Cleveland Wrenn Jr., 73, of Lancaster passed away peacefully at home on March 19, 2026. Born in Louisburg, N.C., he was the son of the late James Cleveland Wrenn Sr. and Nannie Wrenn. He attended Louisburg College.

Jim is survived by his loving wife, Carlee; and children, Christina Prince, Elizabeth Tafani and David Coleman; and his sister, Melanie Fuller. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Martha Skeans, Betty Burnette and Gwynda Martin.

A man of deep faith, Jim loved the Lord, his family and the beauty of the outdoors. He found great joy in nature, especially fishing, birdwatching and spending time with his dogs. An avid fisherman, he cherished being out on the water as much as the catch itself. He was active and athletic, enjoying basketball and cornhole, and had a lifelong appreciation for trucks and boats.

Jim served faithfully as a deacon at his church and was known for his warm personality, unforgettable smile and remarkable ability to remember faces. He built a career in sales, working in clothing and automobiles, and later offering consultation in kitchen and bath remodeling.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 28, at Corrottoman Baptist Church, 48 Ottoman Ferry Road, Lancaster.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration, 2700 Horizon Drive, Suite 120, King of Prussia, PA 19406.

Currie Funeral Home LLC of Kilmarnock handled the arrangements.
