On Saturday, March 28, people around the U.S. and the world took part in the third No Kings Day demonstration, a peaceful, non-violent protest against the policies of the Trump administration.
Locally, three events were held, in Heathsville, Kilmarnock and Saluda. Combined, over 600 area residents came out to express their dismay over the current presidential administration.
For some, the war was a top concern, a war Trump started with no Congressional input or approval. Others were concerned about the ever-rising price of gas while energy, health care and grocery costs remain stubbornly high, reported Lancaster County Democratic Committee co-chairman Charlotte Hollings.
