Some 163 players in leagues from tee-ball to senior softball gathered at Dream Fields Friday, April 10 to open the 2026 Lancaster County Little League season.
The theme this year is “Honoring America” and teams will wear red, white and blue in commemoration of the nation’s 250th birthday. The ceremony included a special recognition for the 2025 Lancaster Junior Softball League All Stars, who won the District 15 and Virginia tournament championships to go on and represent the state in the Southeast Regional.
