KILMARNOCK—Members of the Kilmarnock Town Council on Monday, September 16, voted (3-1) to appoint Alice Cooper to fill the seat on the council recently vacated by Keith Butler.
Rebecca Nunn, Les Spivey and Michael Sutherland voted in favor of Cooper’s appointment. Council member Curtis Smith voted against her appointment, and member Emerson Gravatt was absent from the meeting.
